What does the website do?
The website takes food orders and collects card payments via your own PayPal account. Alternatively the customer can choose to pay with cash on delivery. It also stores all the order and customer information (not including credit card details).
How do you receive the orders?
All orders are sent to you via an email address which can be received by any smartphone, computer, tablet or laptop. Emails can be received by any members of staff with access to emails. This means there are NO separate data charges associated with the thermal printers as used by portals like Just-Eat etc.
Does Cheap Takeaway Menus take a commission?
No, all proceeds go straight to your PayPal account (PayPal take 3.5%), Cheap Takeaway Menus do not take any commission payments like takeaway ordering portals such as Just-Eat. At no time do Cheap Takeaway Menus hold your money! You can also allow your customers to pay with cash on delivery or phone to make a card payment as alternatives to using PayPal.
What are the future costs?
All you pay is £250 per year (plus £25 if you buy a domain with us) for your website's hosting, technical support (if it goes wrong we fix it for you) and updates. We will be continually updating and improving the sites to include more and more stuff like social networking connectivity (Facebook, Twitter etc.), food picture galleries, customer comments area etc.
Can you make changes to the prices?
Yes you can. To begin with we will supply you with an Excel spread sheet with all your menu information on it. To alter any prices or add products etc. all you will need to do is alter the Excel file and email it to us. As part of future site development we will be building a management area where you can alter any and all information on your site.

As we improve and add features you will automatically be updated and upgraded. Future developments include:-

Can it connect to your EPOS?
If you are buying an EPOS through CTM it can definitely connect to and place orders directly into it. If you are using another EPOS it is possible that we can connect it, providing their system has either an API or accepts orders via email. Speak with your supplier to get more information.
